Turkey wrap

 

Ingredients:

 

Some sliced turkey

1 tortilla wrap  

1 tablespoon of cream cheese

2 leaves of lettuce            

 

Method:

 

Put a pan on the stove and place the tortilla in it. Let it brown then remove.  Spread the cream cheese on the wrap and add turkey and lettuce then place in microwave for 20 seconds.

 

Maple and pecan cookies

 

Ingredients

 

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon light brown sugar

3 teaspoon maple syrup

2 1/4 cups self-rising cake flour

35  pecan halves

2 baking sheets, lined with wax paper or greased

 

Method

 

Cream the butter and sugar. Then add the maple syrup and mix in the sifted flour. Roll into small balls, and press with the base of a glass that you've lightly oiled. Press gently onto the lined baking sheets leaving a 2-inch space and stud each with a pecan half. Cook for 15 minutes. They start off golden so it's hard to tell if they're cooked just by sight, but lift one up to check it's no longer doughy on the bottom. Remove from the oven, leave for a minute or two on the trays, and then transfer to a wire rack to cool.

 

Banana smoothie

 

Ingredients:

 

2   whole Bananas

3   cups Ice

1   cup of Milk OR Vanilla Yogurt

 

Method

 

Pour all ingredients in blender pouring ice in last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until banana smoothie thickens.
